IndEco cited in the summer edition of "The Distributor"
Friday, 13 July 2007
In the June/July edition of The Distributor, a publication of the Electricity Distributors Association (EDA), David Collie cited IndEco's report in his "Message from the Chair".
The article emphasises the importance of the EDA's advocacy initiatives and the leadership shown by the province's electricity distributors in making progress on electricity conservation. IndEco's May 2007 report on the results of LDCs conservation efforts in 2006 affirms this assertion stating:
"Ontario's local electricity distribution companies reported progress on a large number of diverse and innovative programs to help their customers and themselves to reduce their electricity use and demand...It is clear from the results achieved that LDCs can play an important role in helping Ontario to meet its objectives for energy conservation."
