IndEco will be providing the instruction for the MEARIE course on Evaluation, Monitoring and Verification (EM&V) of conservation and demand management (CDM) Programs. The course will provide in-depth learning on the monitoring, tracking and evaluation of CDM programs. This course will prepare participants to successfully track, monitor and evaluate all aspects of their CDM programs.
Course outline:
- The importance evaluation, monitoring and verification
- Developing an evaluation plan
- Data collection and analysis including types of data, sampling strategies etc.
- Measurement and verification
- Third party verification and evaluation
- Impact evaluation
- Process evaluation
- Using evaluation results in program design and implementation
Evaluation, Monitoring and Verification of CDM Programs is one of seven courses being offered by The MEARIE Group that IndEco staff will be leading. Participants that successfully complete all seven CDM based training courses will be eligible for a MEARIE CDM Specialist Certificate.
